Michael "Big Mike" Clark Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

CLARK, Michael, “Big Mike”, 58, passed away on July 12, 2022 at his daughter’s home in Shelbyville, TN. He holds the record for the most career points in basketball at Greenbrier High School and was inducted into the Greenbrier High School Athletic Hall of Fame. He had an outstanding collegiate career in football at MTSU. Proudly served as a Metro Nashville Police Officer for over 26 years. He loved spending time with his family and loved sports including the Titans and the True-Blue MTSU Raiders. He is preceded by his father, Paul E. Clark and previous wife, April Talton-Clark. He is survived by his children, Madison Clark, Kailey (Caleb) Amos & Bryce Clark; granddaughter Havana Ray; mother, Carolyn Clark; older brother, Billy L. (Donna) Clark; younger sister, Vicki L. Clark; nieces and nephew, Brittney, Brooke & Brett Clark; Fur-babies, Zeus, Leola, Bane, Chillii & Moose. Visitation will be 4:00pm to 8:00pm Friday at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home and 12:00pm until service time at 1:00pm at Long Hollow Baptist Church with sermon provided by Brother Chad Phelan of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Greenbrier, TN. Pallbearers will be, Bryce Clark, Doug Vinson, Jesse Burchwell, Greg “Bull” Bullock, Rock Hurst, Charlie Williams, Dale Bagwell & Scott Elder. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Phil Vassar, Randy Carr, Joe Boyd, Micky Elrod, Scott Burton, Doug Holman, Carl Miller & Jeff “Derby” Dunovan.
