In loving memory of Kathy May Young (Meadows). The family is saddened to announce the passing of Kathy May Young, who was born February 20, 1954, and passed away June 28, 2022 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN at the age of 68. She loved spending time with her family and loved the outdoors. Kathy enjoyed gardening, sewing, and doing crafts, but mostly Kathy loved to SHOP! Preceded in death by her husband, John Travis Young; parents, Frank Meadows and Sadie (Goolsby) Meadows. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Young; sons, Jeremy Young and Joshua Young; grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor, Aaron, Brianna, Braiden, Brielea, McKenna, and Cash; sisters, Marie (Tony) Calhoun and Jamie (Kenny) Brown; nieces, Dana Calhoun and Amy (Tyson) Crain; nephews, Scotty Calhoun and Ken (Lisa) Brown; great-nieces, Brittany, Skyler, Ansley, and Aubree; great-nephews, Jordan and Kellen; several great-grandchildren, two aunts, and many cousins. Kathy touched everyone in her family deeply and will be greatly missed. Please join the family in celebrating her life Tuesday, July 5th from 2pm until 8pm at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, 2707 Gallatin Rd. Nashville, TN. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, July 6th, at 10am at Ryes Chapel Cemetery in Southside, TN. Pallbearers: Ken Brown, Kellen Brown, Scotty Calhoun, Jordan Wilson, Jaylon Calhoun, and Jimmy Dunnagan.
