Adam Joseph Saunders II

Adam Joseph Saunders II, 18-year-old resident of Hendersonville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Adam was born May 17, 1992 in Los Angeles, California. He lived in California, Michigan and Tennessee, attended the Roeper School, Olivenhain Pioneer Elementary, the Poway Home School program, Hendersonville High School and graduated from the Aaron Academy. He was in his first year of studies at Volunteer State Community College on full academic scholarship. Adam was a baptized Christian, enjoyed studying history and was a member of the WWII re-enactors group, "Baker Company, 117th Infantry Regiment, 30th Division." He worked part-time as a landscaper, volunteered as video editor for the Hendersonville Church of God YouTube channel, and was a voice-over talent for "Warfare 1942" videogame by ConArtist Games. He is survived by his parents Bayard and Jane Saunders; brother Joseph and sister MaryKate Saunders; grandmothers Helen Saunders and Mary Wisner; aunts Bethany Saunders, Pamela Granata, Patty Bennett, Marilyn Martinez, Kathy, Leanna and Katie Mellon, Tina Sauer, Kathy Puscas and Renee Wisner; uncles Jim, Greg and Robert Mellon, Jerry Puscas and Robert Granata; cousins Maureen and John Tabor, Molly and Amanda Mellon, Brian and Michelle Wisner, Alicia, Jennifer and Alena Sauer, Caitlin, Christina and Morgan Puglisi, Nicolette, Mallory and Gabrielle Granata. He is also survived by his beloved pets, Pig, Scully and Steve. He was predeceased by his cousin, Pedro Martinez. A "Celebration of Life" service will be held for Adam at the Hendersonville Church of God, 724 E. Main St., Hendersonville, Tennessee, at 3:00pm on Saturday, April 2, 2011. Visitation is at the church prior to the service from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, and a communal meal follows the service. Pastor Gary Stacey will officiate, with members of WWII Re-enactors Baker Company, 117th Infantry Regiment, 30th Division as color guard and pallbearers.
