Raymond 'Ray' Bruce Tucker Sr

November 16, 1938 - February 26, 2022

Raymond Bruce Tucker, Sr., 83, of Nashville passed away on Saturday, February 26th. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Catherine Tucker; wife, Joyce Tucker; and brother, Mike Tucker. He is survived by his sons, Bruce Tucker, Jr., Jose Tucker, and Terry Tucker; nieces, Michelle Tucker-Day and Suzanne Tucker; nephew, Ben Thompson; and brother-in-law Russ Thompson. Ray was born in Louisville, KY on November 16th, 1938. He served 8 years in the U.S. Air Force, receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1964. Ray spent another 33 years at Link Electric & Safety Control Co. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 3rd from 4pm to 8pm at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, 2707 Gallatin Rd, Nashville. A Graveside Service will be held at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville on March 4th, 2022 at 9am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Wounded Warrior Project in Ray’s honor.
