Doris May Fay Stephens

Doris May Fay Stephens, age 83, was born in Maury County. She resided most of her life in Nashville TN where she departed on July 24, 2020. Preceded in death by her husband, John Larry Stephens; sister, Imogene Page; two brothers, Rufus Wallace and Edward Wallace. Doris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed playing Texas hold'em with family and friends and had a good poker face. She retired from H.G.Hills after more than 25 years of service in 1998. She is survived by her three sons, James Stephens, Lonnie Stephens and Lonnie Stephens Jr.; two daughters, Gail Stephens and Candy Gentry; son-in-law Tommy Gentry; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; and a sister, Deanie Brown. A memorial service for the family will take place at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home on July 30, 2020 at 1pm. Due to the current restrictions in Metropolitan Nashville, there can be no more than 25 people in our facility at any time.
