JOHNSON, Harold James, Age 77 of Nashville passed away on Sept. 29, 2017 in Evansville, IN doing what he loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Geneva and Paul Johnson; sons, David and Paul; special uncle and aunt, Jim and Inez Fent; and Jerri and Irma.

Survived by his significant other and love of forty years, Peggy Dickson; sons, Danny Johnson and Rick Baker (Clearwater, FL); daughters, Tami Naumann (Gulfort, FL), Vicki (Tony) Thomas (Elizabethtown, KY), and Judy Johnson (Savanah, GA); and brother, Glen Johnson (Dickson, TN); grandchildren, Chris (Mahota) Johnson (Murfreesboro, TN), Jacob Naumann, Nate (Lynzee) Naumann, Savannah Dehart, Anna Baker, Austin Baker, Amy Manns (Lexington, KY), Hayes (Brittney) Thomas, Taylor Thomas, Kathryn Thomas (Elizabethtown, KY), Karen Johnson (Clearwater, FL) & Karina Johnson (Savannah, GA); great-grandchildren, Emma Johnson, Levi Naumann, and Jayden Grugen; nieces, Jessica May and Amanda Donegan; and other numerous family and friends.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for Colonial Freight Systems, Inc. for over fifty years where he was awarded the Safety Award for his achievement, leadership, and diligence for Colonial Freight Systems, Inc.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Inn at Opryland in the Brentwood Room, 2401 Music City Dr. in Nashville, on Sat., Oct. 7 from 2pm-5pm
