Resided in Brentwood, TN

Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and granddaughter Ellie Lynn Ferrell passed away at the age of 26 in her home in Brentwood, Tennessee on the morning of Monday, 8 May 2017. Ellie was born on 28 March 1991 and was raised by her father and mother, Bobby and Brenda Ferrell. Ellie lived in the Nashville area her entire life.

Ellie attended school at Christ Presbyterian Academy, Brentwood High School, and Columbia State Community College. She is survived by her loving father and mother, her two brothers, Major Peter (Jenna) Ferrell and Zachary (Rachel) Peyton Ferrell, her grandfather Reverend J. Arch Warren, her grandmother Jean Ferrell, her nephew Peyton Ferrell, her niece Lily Ferrell, and many aunts, uncles, cousins.

Ellie was a generous, caring, and loving young woman. She never hesitated to help anyone (or any animal) in need. While she never had much by way of material means, she never hesitated to give all she had to others. Ellie loved all of her family, but especially her brothers Peter and Zach. She was so proud to be their sister.

Ellie's life verse from the time she was a young child was Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." She had this tattooed on her back and believed it to be true, even when things were darkest.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, 10 May 2017, from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home on 2707 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216. A short grave-side service will be held at 10:00 AM the next morning, Thursday, 11 May 2017, at the Spring Hill Cemetery on 5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216.
